“In Explora I have done everything: I have been an evaluator of written projects and initiatives presented at the National Congress of Explora.
Once I was invited to Copiapó and then I returned to give talks in three schools. It was a very nice tour. I also advised a group of schoolchildren in Florida in a scientific study, which was later published in a book ", the scientist details.
Thus, from the Explora Program, they highlighted how they advised and accompanied the learning process of this group of students from the capital, contributing their knowledge in research and responding to the questions of adolescents. In addition, Dr. Murgas' motivation led her to integrate other scientists into the process, demonstrating that collaborative work is one of the ways to learn and understand the world around us.
"I would have loved that Explora had existed when I was young, to have a greater approach to science," says the academic, who ends by saying: "This past year, science has had a huge boom and being part of this it motivates us to continue working with Chilean children".
